The Yoga of Service 850 Hour Yoga Therapy Program
is a complete professional training program in Yoga therapy, certifying
participants both to work with therapeutic groups and to develop a
private Yoga therapy practice, offering one-on-one sessions. Through
this course you will learn how to design and teach Yoga programs for
groups and individuals with specific needs and specific health
challenges. You will also develop an in-depth understanding of the
philosophy, theory, process and application of Yoga therapy.
This in-depth understanding will allow you to work in
complementary settings such as health care, yoga studios or as a private Yoga therapist.
IAYT Update!! Yoga University's The Science of Yoga Therapy** (December 14 & 15) is the training this year that will qualify Yoga University Yoga Therapy students to be eligible to grandfather as a Yoga Therapist with the IAYT If you can NOT attend this training register and fill out the application and submit it to our Director of Training asap and we'll see how we can help you meet the grandfathering IAYT deadline of December 31, 2013.
**The Science of Yoga Therapy has required reading and a practical application portion that each therapy student must be able to demonstrate during our session. It's important that new therapy students contact our Director of Training to get the required reading list and homework assignment PRIOR to our December 14 & 15, 2014 session.
